Blueprint Travelers was founded in 2023 by Kevin and Melina, avid travelers who decided to pack up their home and travel the world. They created this travel website to help and inspire others to make the most of their world travels.
All of the content that you will find on this website comes from first hand experience to make sure that the information is valuable and accurate. We are so excited for you to join in on the adventure!

Over the years, we have adventured through the backpacker life and indulged in high-end luxury travel experiences. Blueprint Travelers excels in the comfort category, at times borrowing from the cost conscious aspects of backpacking but also extending into the top tiers of hospitality offerings. Our goal is to always strive to find the right balance so that the overall trip is designed to be unforgettable while also being financially obtainable for working professionals.
Throughout all of our travel, we seek out cultural experiences because we believe that through shared experiences we all become better citizens of the world. While it can be hard to truly understand a culture during a short stay, we seek out local businesses, tours, and activities that can expose you to people or ideas that make different parts of the world so unique. It will also, hopefully, create connections with locals and other tourists for lasting friendships or memories.

Meet Melina
I (the person who will do most of the writing) am Melina. I come from an international family, having traveled throughout Europe, Latin America, and the United States. My experiences living in Honduras and Italy have given me insight into the pieces of culture that people may be missing when simply traveling through a location. I have always strived to immerse myself in every experience and absorb the culture that surrounds me. I have a background in experience strategy (understanding how people experience space). When combined with my travel knowledge, I hope to produce digestible content for every person.
I began my career as an interior designer. I then pivoted into a space strategy role, becoming an expert in solving for the human experience. My goal is to help every individual travel the world as global citizens. Travel should be beneficial for every person.
Meet Kevin
Kevin was the first in his immediate family to travel overseas when he studied abroad in Madrid, Spain. It was a life changing experience that broadened his cultural knowledge, culinary tastes, and friendships beyond his midwestern neighborhood. He strives to always continue to expand his perspectives and enjoy life through traveling. Kevin has a background in the hospitality industry, leading corporate strategy at the largest family restaurant group in the U.S. His goal is to help organizations and people achieve results that were previously unknown as possibilities. (And he sure has done that for me! Without him, this dream would have remained in my heart and would never have come to fruition!)
